Lab Services

Do I need to see my doctor to get tested?

With the rise in healthcare costs, DirectHealth Mall provides member-direct access to laboratory testing to assist in wellness monitoring and prevention.  With DirectHealth, you as the consumer have direct access to access the same labs that physicians and hospitals use at a fraction of the cost. 

Do I need to schedule an appointment to have my lab sample drawn?

An appointment is not required at LabCorp’s patient service centers.  Since fasting is recommended for many tests, sites are generally the busiest from opening until 10:00 AM. If fasting is not required, you may wish to schedule an appointment during off-peak hours. 

Should I fast before the blood draw?

Yes. It is recommended that you avoid food and liquids for a minimum of 8 hours. Water and/or black coffee are permitted during your fast.

When will I receive the results?

You can expect to receive the results by first class mail within four to five business days after your blood is drawn.

How do I order my test?

First, you place your lab test order through DirectHealth’s online shopping experience.  Simply select the test packages or individual tests that you would like to purchase and use the Find a lab location near me link to predetermine the proximity of the nearest LabCorp lab draw station.  After this, proceed to checkout and purchase your lab tests Online.

Please Note: due to state restrictions, discount lab services through DirectHealth are not available in the following states: MD, MA, NY, NJ and RI.

Once purchased, you will have the opportunity to print a receipt for the transaction and also a test requisition form, which you will bring with you when you go to the LabCorp patient service center for your blood draw.  A certified phlebotomist will be responsible for your blood draw.  Your test results are generally received to DirectHealth within 24-48 hours of the time your lab specimen was collected.  We will then mail you the confidential test results to your attention, which will usually be within 2-3 business days.

Do my lab testing results remain confidential?

Always. We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times. You are the only one who receives the results.

Will I be able to understand the results when I receive them?

All test results include the normal reference ranges, and abnormalities noted. The test results provided are for educational and monitoring purposes only and we encourage you seek a healthcare provider to discuss results outside normal ranges.

How reliable are the results?

With DirectHealth Mall, you will gain direct access to the same accredited labs that your healthcare provider uses. DirectHealth partners with LabCorp, one the leading national medical reference laboratory networks. 

Who receives my results?

We deal directly, confidentially with you and send the results to you.  It is recommended that you take a copy of the results with you when you visit your Doctor.

What if I have questions about the results?

Questions regarding your test results should be discussed with your healthcare provider.  It is recommended that you discuss your results with your Doctor for evaluation, further testing and diagnosis. 

 

Diabetic Supplies

Do you accept insurance or Medicare?

If you currently have insurance, you may purchase from us and submit the bill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Our service is designed to provide you with consumer-direct access to wholesale pricing for diabetic supplies and can be utilized by the uninsured or under-insured to provide a significant savings for the diabetic supplies you need daily.

What is your Standard Shipping Method?

Our standard shipping method is through USPS First Class Mail, which takes about 5-7 business days.  Should you need items sooner, please contact support@directhealthmall.com and we can coordinate express shipping options for you. We are not responsible for delays in shipments caused by the USPS, UPS or any other carrier.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently our service is only available for shipping to locations within the USA. 

When ordering from DirectHealth, is my payment information secure?

Yes. Always.  Our site is protected with SSL (Secure Socket Layer Technology) 128 bit encryption. This is the highest form of encryption available in the market. Between the 128 Bit Encryption and SSL, you can rest assured that your transactions are secure.

How can I get a copy of my invoice?

You will be able to print a receipt once your purchase is complete using the secure online checkout process through DirectHealth.  We also enclose an invoice in the shipment. To request an additional copy, e-mail us at support@directhealthmall.com.  

Can I pay using credit card?

Currently we accept Visa and Mastercard for payments made through our website.

What is your return / refund policy?

You may cancel or change your order within 3 hours of placement by sending an email to DirectHealth Mall Customer Service at support@directhealthmall.com.  

Please place "Cancel Order" or "Change Order" and your order number in the subject line field. If you are canceling your order, you can either receive a credit towards a future purchase or we will refund your card. Please let us know which you would prefer.

We guarantee our products against any defects in materials or workmanship. Any defects will be replaced at no charge. If we made a mistake, we will replace your item or refund your money. Simply contact Customer Support within five (5) days of receiving your order and we will process your refund or exchange.  Please initiate a return email support@directhealthmall.com with your name, phone number, order number, and reason for return, or call us @ 800-395-4124 M-F 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST.

All products that are being returned must be in the same condition as received - we will not accept opened or partially used items, unless the product is defective or was received damaged.

If an item is received damaged, we will correct the mistake with no further charge to you or provide a refund within 30 days of receipt of your return. Items received damaged must be returned with the original packaging. Items returned for exchange or refund must be received by our Returns Department within 45 days of your original order date, and must have a copy of the original invoice or order confirmation included in the shipment. Requests for exchange or refund that are received more than 45 days after the original order date will not be processed. DirectHealth shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges related to the exchange or return of defective products will be reimbursed at our discretion. Bulk Orders are customized and non-returnable. As always we will accept returns for damaged or misprinted goods.

How does the Concierge Service work?

In addition to member-direct pricing for lab testing and diabetic supplies, DirectHealth has cultivated partnerships with a variety of category-leading specialty medical and wellness products and services.  As you shop the DirectHealth Mall Web site, there will be certain services that will require the assistance of our concierge desk in order to schedule and receive your exclusive discount.  For any such service, you can simply fill out the brief contact form and a concierge desk representative contact you directly concerning that product or service. Or, you may contact the concierge desk at any point by calling us @ 800-395-4124.  

When can I expect to hear from a Concierge Desk Representative?

Typically, you can expect a call from our Concierge Desk within four business hours of submitting your interest via the DirectHealth Mall Web site.
